Risk: Probability & Impact
Today I figured out the correct way to model the Probability-Impact Matrix that was used to illustrate the Risks Description. Initially, before I “got” perspective, I had only the probability-impact line going in a y=-x function way. I was always rather unhappy with it, even though it -sort of- checked out. But impact and probability were basically fixed on that line and seemed ultimately not completely right.
Once it clicked with me I was able to fix this within minutes.
Eulers Identity: Suspicions
Of course Euler’s Formula and, subsequently, Euler’s Identity are very close to the WTF-Model.
I’ve had suspicions on the whereabouts of the different constants, namely e, i, and π.
Even though it’s perspective dependent, it is pretty clear to me that i, the imaginary unit, is directly in the center. But from the peripheral aka global perspective, as from the local one, i is replaced by the prime numbers.
I stumbled upon e, Euler’s number (2.
New: Overlay Categories
Today, I added the ability to selectively toggle certain categories of overlays. I decided to group the current 36 options into the following categories:
Default Math Physics Engineering Popular Misc The major motivation here is to avoid overwhelming new users. As inferred from the model itself (how beautiful…), simplicity is key - yet also challenging due to its low entropy (one of the “key problems” mankind will eternally struggle with).
New Blog: What this will be about
This is my new Blog. I will primarily talk about the WTF-Model, which is the Lightweight-Theory of Everything i’ve been working on for quite some time and only occasionally I’ll drop in some of my job related endeavors.
Alternativly named the ‘God Fractal’ or ‘Lightweight ToE’ the WTF is my primary anchor. Even though i was able to find this marvel, describe and understand it fully (to the best of my abilities), the second part -the harder part- of the task here really seems on how to put this in as simple as possible words so i can communicate the model to others.
