Model Finalization
Progress update on finalizing the WTF model: unified 3D assets, branding decisions, optimized media workflows, and multiple new conceptual mappings.
Release Progress
Recent progress on Steam submission, IP cleanup, technical upgrades, and content remakes as the project moves steadily toward full release.
Interface Streamlining
Streamlined the interface with a new JSON config for colorization and sorting, added hover glow effects, hotkey-based UI toggling, and reworked layout elements. Submitted a Steam Review Guide; awaiting next steps after Steam’s request for full third-party asset documentation.
Steam .VDF Format & Windows Runner
Submitted WTF build for Steam Store review, including .vdf packaging and split redistributables. Automated forum updates via GitHub Actions Windows Runner. Added change detection to avoid full rebuilds. Cleanup included CSS fixes, logic optimizations, and pipeline tweaks.
Implementing Steam Cloud and Dark Mode
Added keyboard shortcuts with dynamic overlay, full Dark Mode with system detection, and Steam Cloud integration via Steamworks.NET. Language sync added using C#/JS interop. Reworked Relativ display, moved language settings to modal, and enabled DevTools via launch args.
Selling on Steam & Minimal Model Release
Pushed the WTF Minimal Model live at minimal.wtf-model.com with 50 descriptions and no overlays. Set up forum previews, Steam deployment via WPF/.NET 8, and CI/CD with Azure ACI. Public repo, intro video, and PDF planned for 2025. Full release delayed but progressing well.
Release Nearing: Recent Updates
Improved BPMN 2.0 mapping by replacing XOR with correct AND/OR gateways and distinguishing Sub-Processes. Public release will offer a free GitHub version with core items and a paid Azure version with 350+ overlays. Split deployment is automated via Python and GitHub Actions.
